About this item

  • PVC Outdoor monarch butterfly cage is weather, predation, tear, and parasitoid resistant. Nylon fabric is much stronger than conventional popup cage netting. Hammer the PVC pole together and make sure the poles are connected completed.
  • Caterpillar habitat consists of a durable PVC frame which is quickly assembled using the included pole connectors. A mesh tent fits onto this frame to create an enclosed cage, suitable for the rearing and maintenance of caterpillars. Please refer to manual or listing gallery picture for installation, the key is to use a hammer to connect the pole connect tightly.
  • Butterfly cage unfolded measures 24" x 24" x 36". Tall and wide, can hold 4 large milkweed plants pots. The mesh tent threads onto this frame to form a self-contained enclosure that is large enough for butterflies, insects and other bugs, they can be reared and maintained safely.
  • Mesh panels for good airflow. Fine mesh enclosure is soft and breathable. Clear vinyl window panel for students and families an unforgettable opportunity to watch caterpillars change into chrysalides and then emerge as beautiful Monarch, Painted Lady or Black Swallowtail Butterflies.
